Reviewing the basics of ratios, decimals, fractions ad percents empowers the entrepreneur with the confidence of knowing how to interpret the numbers used in business.The second workshop is designed to help the business person understand how to price their product, how to determine a break-even and how to prepare and understand the basic accounting for small business; "Transforming Your Workspace Environment From Dull to Dazzle" Ever wondered why you sometimes feel like you are "spinning your wheels"? This workshop is designed to focus each participant on their own interior design challenge with custom solutions to assist in improved productivity and comfort. The Institute serves as an incubator for local startups and small to medium size companies. For many new to business, these workshops provide practical hands on instruction from those who have successful businesses of their own. The unique aspect of the workshops is that students are encouraged to participate and in turn receive customized solutions to their individual situations. Advanced registration is required as class size is limited. Classes are offered for Monday, Tuesday & Thurday evenings from 6 to 9 pm, and Saturdays from 9 to 12 pm and 1 to 4 pm.
